Looming Lady Blog
Lately, I have been having trouble saying I love you. No it's not an emotional thing. With my broken arm out of the cast I have been re learning how to do my basic ASL sign language. That includes I love you. My fingers work better everyday end my hand is improving as well. But my I love you still needs work.
As you may know I wrote a book on loom knitting ASL letters. Now I decided that I need a hand so I made 1 with a little 12 peg loom, loom hook, small amounts of two colors scrap yarn, and yarn needle. I made a 5 hand sign so I could make it be anything I needed. I had wanted to put snaps on the palm and fingers. But my mobility doesn't extend yet to small needles and snaps. So I am using a safety pin to shape my hand. Wish my real hand was as flexible! Sigh. It was recently requested that I complete a video of my ASL on the loom. I'm going to try - though my videography is not expert. Give me a few weeks to try to complete a decent film.
