I finally got my cast off - the big 1.  Now I'm down to a little splint that I don't have to wear all the time. Before the cast was removed I decided to try something simple but pretty on a loom. So I made this case for my camera.
for this you need a 12 peg loom , loom hook, yarn needle, 2 buttons , and a small amount of yarn
this is a formed case which I made for my Canon power shot digital camera. It would fit many standard digital cameras . It is about 3 inches high, 4 and a half inches wide, the bottom is about one HALF inch wide.
Double e-wrap the first 12 pegs, turn, knit bottom loops over top.
Row2: knit
Row 3, purl. Do not turn. E-wrap last 12 pegs.
Rounds 4-14:purl 1. Knit 9, purl 1, knit 1, purl 1, knit 9, purl 1, knit 1.
Round 15: knit off first 12 stitches.  Knit last 12 stitches. Turn.
Rows 16-25: Knit
Row 26 knit off.
Sew 1 button to row 24 – on the pocket. It will fit into stitch 8 of round 8. The flap folds inside the beg and buttons through. Sew 2nd button onto stitch 9 of round 10.  I glued mine with fabric glue but will need to sew it.
I did not make a strap – it goes in my pocket. You can make a strap by knitting 2  stitches for 45 -100 rows. the number of rows determine the length of your handle. Sew to inside of purse on each end.

The bowtie makes a nose and whiskers. Embroider the eyes to make a baby animal hat! According to most charts this should fit a 2-3 pound preemie. I made it with 2 strands of soft baby yarn, a 24 peg loom, loom hook, and yarn needle. Also, with one arm, due to a broken right wrist. I am a rightie....

Double e- wrap all 24 pegs.  knit 10 rounds.
Round 11:  knit  6,  slip stitch next 7 stitches by lifting each stitch off the peg and laying  the yarn on the inside between the work and the peg  and then replacing the stitch back onto the peg. Knit to end of round.
round 12 : knit around.
 Rounds 13 through 14: repeat round 11 and 12.
Round 15: knit  9 ,  lift the loops  off peg 10 , reach down and pull up slipped stitches from rounds 11 and 13, place them on peg 10,  replace original loops, lay working yarn  below all loops, Purl by reaching down through all the loops to the working yarn  and pulling it up to create a loop to place onto peg 10. knit to end of round.
Rounds 16 through 19:   knit.
After completing  round 19,    move all the odd stitches (one, 3, 5, 7, etc ) to the next peg. Knit the lower stitches over the top stitches .
Round 20 : Knit off all stitches.
Sew top of hat closed. Embroider  eyes. Weave in all threads.
