Looming Lady Blog
Here is an update to week 3 of the yard sale yarn challenge. No hats this time. In week 3 I started a hat but did not finish it. I made a baby book, what some people call a quiet book. I made this one just 3 pages and I made it on a 24 peg loom pay. I'd like to expand on this idea. It might be nice as a gift for a baby in the Samaritans purse operation shoebox. After the baby book, I started to make an advent calendar. So far, it is composed of 18 pockets maid on a 12 peg loom. I'm going to make several of these for this upcoming holiday for my nieces and nephews. I always feel more satisfied with small loom projects. They work up quickly and make me believe I did more work with them. There were 4 white crochet squares in my stash from the yarn sale. I’m folding them, sewing them, and adding ornaments for gift bags. I got 2 done this week. One more week for my challenge. I sure hope I can get some stuff done this last 7 days!
